A Vital Partnership

2017 marked the second year that Integrated Fire Protection partnered with the Georgia Underwriters Association and Georgia Arson Control to host First Responder Appreciation breakfasts at fire departments around the Metro area.

While in 2016 we focused on serving several county fire departments, this year we focused specifically on city fire departments such as those in Milton, Peachtree City, Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, and Decatur.

We host these appreciation breakfasts because we want to acknowledge the vital, lifesaving work that our first responders sacrifice to perform each and every day. They put their lives on the line by running toward danger when everyone else runs away from it because their courage knows no limitations. Each man and woman who serves in these first responder roles is nothing short of a hero, and it is our honor to bring Chick-Fil-A and a custom corn hole set as a way of saying, “Thank you.”

In terms of fire and life safety, we view ourselves in a vital partnership with first responders. On one side of the coin, fire fighters and medical personnel courageously respond to put out an active fire and tend to those affected or injured by it. On the other side of the coin, Integrated Fire Protection is both inspecting commercial facilities to help keep them compliant with fire codes to reduce the chance of a preventable fire taking place, and always working to install the most sophisticated fire protection equipment to ensure any fires that may occur are contained or extinguished automatically before first responders have to place their lives in jeopardy.

This relationship is one that we don’t take lightly. Each time that we set out to install or inspect a fire sprinkler system, fire alarm system, special hazard system, kitchen hood, or portable fire extinguisher, we know that we are fortifying the first line of defense between fires and our first responders. We are grateful to be in the fire and life safety business and are honored to do our part in seeking to protect those who protect each and every one of us.
