With a broad understanding of The Fire and Life Safety Industry, along with a passion for excellence, Founder and President John D. Bennett formed the corporation initially as a portable fire extinguisher inspection and service company with the vision to ultimately create a streamlined, sole-source solution for the demand he recognized in the marketplace. Based on the initial positive response from the market, it was evident early on that there was a need for a Fire and Life Safety service provider that could effectively fulfill the broad range of services and compliance requirements faced by nearly all building owners and managers. While there were many fire protection companies providing services in the marketplace, the market was fragmented with the majority of providers delivering either single option services (e.g., just fire sprinkler, fire alarm or extinguisher) or “partnering” options that were producing less than favorable results.
Methodically building on the foundation of the initial success of the extinguisher business, Mr. Bennett launched the company’s in-house Fire Sprinkler Division only two years after forming the Corporation. Then, fully realizing his vision six years later he formed the company’s in-house Fire Alarm and Special Hazards business units.

Community Involvement
As a result of our long-standing relationship with Atlanta Motor Speedway, an opportunity arose to begin serving and supporting an incredible organization called Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC).
The mission of Speedway Children’s Charities is to care for children’s educational, financial, social and medical needs in order to help these children lead productive, ordinary lives. With our help, SCC is able to provide funding for hundreds of nonprofit organizations that meet the direct needs of thousands of children. Yearly, SCC has consistently provided more than $3 million towards brighter futures for these children!
Although Speedway Children’s Charities is a national charity organization, it is able to serve the children of Georgia and the Atlanta area locally. Children with learning disabilities, in broken homes and with childhood cancer are some of the individuals your local SCC chapter is helping currently.
